What are the benefits of membership in CSHRM?

If I join today, when will my membership expire?

Membership dues are valid from January – December each year. CSHRM bills members annually in December. Membership automatically expires if dues are not paid in full prior to the annual conference in March.

Does CSHRM produce a membership directory?

CSHRM maintains a searchable membership directory on the CSHRM Web site. This online directory replaces all older print editions. The membership directory is accessible in the Members Services section of the Web site.

How much are membership dues?

CSHRM membership rates are $75 per year January 1 thru December 31.

After I join, when can I expect my membership card?

You will normally receive your membership card within a few weeks of joining the association. Members wishing to obtain information on their membership should contact Daniel Weinwright, Membership Chair: cshrmmemchair@cshrmca.org.

What health care settings do CSHRM members work in?

CSHRM members come from a variety of settings including, but not limited to, acute care and academic medical centers, integrated delivery systems, insurance carriers, underwriters/captive management, multi-service health facilities, tertiary care, managed care providers, long term care, behavioral health, and law.

Do I have a special membership identification number?

No, at this time your membership is maintained in an access database and is alphabetically located by your last name not by an identification number.

What are the place and dates for the CSHRM Annual Conference?

The CSHRM Annual Conference is held the first week of March each year.

When does the Board of Directors meet?

The Board of Directors is scheduled to meet as follows for 2007-2008. The mode and frequency of these meetings may change depending on the needs of the Board to carry out its fiduciary responsibilities.
